Candidate Profile

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science/equivalent 

• 3+ years of product development experience with strong understanding of object-oriented development methodologies 

• Strong knowledge in Web 2.0, Java, J2EE, HTML-based web technologies, ORM Tools (Hibernate, Toplink) and relational database products 

• Strong programming skills, including the ability to read and comprehend complex code bases written by others 

• Prior experience in working with Google Web Toolkit (GWT) 

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 

• Prior Database experience: SQL, query optimization, migration 

• Prior experience with working in fast paced, small teams that follow flexible, adaptive methodologies 

 

Desirable

• Experience with developing large scale web applications using Application servers preferably JBoss 

• Understanding of Internet protocols - programming of TCP/IP, HTTP and other major internet protocols 

• Experience in one or more of the following: Lucene, Solr, Sphinx, Web Services (REST and/or SOAP)
