Job Title: Senior Manager – Sales & Business Development – APAC

Location: Bangalore

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
•    Work towards creating new markets and new customers for products and services in the APAC region.
•    Understand market potential and accurately forecast revenues, closures.
•    Develop and implement strategic sales pans to achieve individual and organizational goals.
•    Analyze regional business/technology/competitor trends and plan accordingly.
•    Identify and maintain relationship, with key influencers, decision makers of customers
•    Work on Lead generation, RFP and bids.
•    Build, maintain and foster client accounts.
•    Ability to understand customer’s business and formulate solutions based on the services and travel technology needs.
•    Drive direct/indirect sales, achieve revenue targets and ensure market coverage.
•    Own, develop, retain and maintain customer relationship
•    Work closely with the global sales and marketing team to help develop the line of business.
•    Articulate account and market insights to internal teams: sales management, marketing and product development teams.
•    Proactively communicate with the team and management.
•    Should be able to “walk the extra mile” if required to ensure business growth; self starter and an independent thinker.
•    Work towards and confirm the estimates (size, cost, effort etc.) schedules, and other commitments for self and the team.
•    Responsible for growing mind-set and creating product awareness to potential customers in the territory.
•    Closely work with and support Client services team on new revenue opportunities as and when applicable.
•    Promote business relationship with customers and partners.
•    Prepare customer profiles and account management plans.
•    Arrange presentations and demonstrations of products and services.
•    Effective team Management.
•    Must have  passion for Travel Industry and Travel Technology; strong personality with demonstrated leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization; strong presence and credibility established with the client base and internally.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•    Any graduation.
•    MBA in marketing & sales is preferred.
•    Overall about 10 years of experience with good understanding and networking in the travel/Airline Industry.
•    Atleast 3-5 years of strategic Sales/BD experience in Travel Industry is preferred.
•    Should have been responsible for a certain level of revenue target
•    High degree of professionalism in communications written and verbal.
•    Proven excellence in troubleshooting, problem solving and facilitating solutions.
•    Strong decision-making capability.
•    Excellent leadership and management skills.
•    Skilled at creating and retaining clients/customers.
•    Able to respond to a rapidly changing environment.
•    Travel may be as high as 25% during peak periods.
